As the risk for small businesses getting hacked increases daily, so too does the need for cyber security coverage. Within the next 4 years, a cyber security policy will become as important to SMBs as standard P & C coverage with expectations to grow to 14bn in premiums by 2022. Because of this, it is important to be on the forefront of that market, to understand how cyber security works, and why cyber security policies are so important.
Paladin protects, responds, and insures against hackers to provide businesses peace of mind. Paladin is cyber protection made easy.

A Captain in the Army Reserves Cyber Operations Group, Han Wang has had an extensive career in Cyber Security. Han attended Berkeley for his Undergrad and then Stanford for his Master’s in Computational Mathematics and Engineering. He has worked as a consultant for DARPA and at Livermore Labs. The idea for Paladin came while Han was in Iraq assessing network infrastructure for security weaknesses across bases. After linking up with Daniel and getting into YC, Han was sent to Korea to act as Cyber Liaison, missing YC’s pitch day. Han firmly believes in the idea of democratizing cyber security and thinks Paladin is a way to that future.
